STK 3267 1966 Plymouth Fury III This partially restored 1966 Plymouth Fury III is a perfect example of an early MOPAR performance machine. It is a rare classic, even more noteworthy because of its 383/4-speed drivetrain configuration. It has received a professional respray of Bright Red, all original chrome/stainless is in excellent condition and period correct American Racing wheels mount 14 Cooper radials. (Rear fender skirts also included) The black vinyl interior is in excellent original condition. There is a full set of factory gauges plus Moon Equipped tachometer, wood-grain wheel and factory AM radio. The Fury III is powered by a 383ci B-Wedge that runs strong. We do not have a detailed history of the engine, but it certainly appears to be a factory Commando 383 install. These motors were rated by Chrysler at 325hp and were the foundation of the 68 Roadrunner. The wedge sits in a spotless engine compartment and has nice chrome accessories including a pair of rare chrome Direct-Connection valve covers from the early 70s MOPAR parts bin.
