STK 3479 1965 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible This fully restored 1965 Plymouth Belvedere I convertible is a rare example of an early MOPAR performance machine a classic. It is said that this Belvedere was a factory 383ci/4-speed car – not an extremely rare drivetrain configuration, but certainly not the norm, especially in a ragtop. A full rotisserie restoration was conducted over a 10-year period and it is stunning. It was basically restored to original condition except for serious drivetrain upgrades. The all-original no-rust body received a professional 2-stage respray of Viper Red and is in outstanding condition. All chrome/stainless pieces are in excellent condition and period correct American Racing alloy wheels mount BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. (The rear wheels are steelies a great idea based on this drivetrain.) The reupholstered burgundy/black vinyl interior is also in excellent condition. New carpeting was installed and there is a classic factory Hurst Comp+ shifter. The dash houses a full set of factory gauges and the original AM radio (needs TLC).
