1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40. Exterior The exterior forest green paint job is truly one of kind and will catch the eye of any passerby. The roof is finished with a champagne gold color creating a unique, tasteful look. This FJ has plenty of clearance for your off-roading adventures with a 3-inch body lift, 15-inch wheels with Warn hubs on the fronts, all wrapped in 35×12.50R15 all-terrain tires. Drivetrain A non-original crate 350ci V8 fits nicely into the engine bay. Held on by an Advance adapter block that mates the engine to the H42 4-speed manual twin stick transmission, this recently rebuilt transfer case and transmission (less than 100 miles ago) disperses power to all 4’s. This FJ40 is also custom fitted with an overdrive allowing for a smoother driving experience at highway speeds. Interior Utilitarian but effective with gray vinyl big buckets up front and show in fair condition with some rips in the seam areas. A cloth smaller aftermarket rear seat is seen while Custom carpeting in the floorboard almost makes you forget this vehicle was built to climb mountains. The cab is fitted with a custom-fitted roll cage. The original dash has a handmade insert with Autometer Gauges. The vehicle is custom fitted with ARB air lockers that allow you to switch from open differential to fully locked in a matter of seconds. No need to step out to lock the differential on the hubs; With a click of a button, you can be ready to climb any obstacle that stands in your way. The center of the dash also has Autometer gauges inserted, as well as many original knobs and chromed glovebox. An AM/FM/CD player also hangs below the dash along with a rally style steering wheel.
